Trinidad is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Bohol, Philippines. According to the 2007 census, it has a population of 27,580 people. Trinidad is a derivation of the word Trinity, which Trinidad was part of the Diocese of Talibon. The town is known for Kawasan Falls and Batungay cave. The present mayor is Roberto Cajes.
